Hello everyone! As many of you may know, I'm perpetually a fan of dark romance books. They're what I read the most on my e-reader thanks to Kindle Unlimited. To say I've read a few is an understatement. Thinking back though, I rarely include the dark romance couples I love in compilations or posts aside from the usual review. I decided it would be a great time to rectify that now. Since a new Taylor Swift rerecording was just announced, making a post exclusively for my favorite morally grey, dark-romance couples with my favorite moody Taylor Swift album, Reputation, seemed perfect.

The Sweetest Oblivion by Danielle Lori
Description: She’s a romantic at heart, living in the most unromantic of worlds . . .
Nicknamed Sweet Abelli for her docile nature, Elena smiles on cue and has a charming response for everything. She’s the favored daughter, the perfect mafia principessa . . . or was.
Now, all she can see in the mirror’s reflection is blood staining her hands like crimson paint.
They say first impressions are everything . . .
In the murky waters of New York’s underworld, Elena’s sister is arranged to marry Nicolas Russo. A Made Man, a boss, a cheat—even measured against mafia standards. His reputation stretches far and wide and is darker than his black suits and ties. After his and Elena’s first encounter ends with an accidental glare on her part, she realizes he’s just as rude as he is handsome.
She doesn’t like the man or anything he stands for, though that doesn’t stop her heart from pattering like rain against glass when he’s near, nor the shiver that ghosts down her spine at the sound of his voice.
And he’s always near. Telling her what to do. Making her feel hotter than any future brother-in-law should. Elena may be the Sweet Abelli on the outside, but she’s beginning to learn she has a taste for the darkness, for rough hands, cigarettes, and whiskey-colored eyes. Having already escaped one scandal, however, she can hardly afford to be swept up in another.
Besides, even if he were hers, everyone knows you don’t fall in love with a Made Man . . . right?
Elena: 'Cause for every lie I tell them // They tell me three // This is how the world works // Now all he thinks about is me - I Did Something Bad, Reputation
Nico: Don't blame me, love made me crazy // If it doesn't, you ain't doin' it right // Lord, save me, my drug is my baby // I'd be usin' for the rest of my life - Don't Blame Me, Reputation
Fragile Longing by Cora Reilly

Danilo is a man who’s used to getting what he wants.
The sought-after ice princess.
Until another man steals his bride-to-be. Danilo knows that for a man in his position losing his woman can lead to a loss of face.
Thirst for revenge.
A dangerous combination—one Danilo can’t leave behind, not even when a girl just as precious takes her sister’s place to placate him. Yet, she’s got one flaw: she’s not her sister.
Unable to forget what he’s lost, Danilo might lose what he’s been given.
Sofia: Long night with your hands up in my hair // Echoes of your footsteps on the stairs // Stay here, honey, I don't want to share // 'Cause I like you - Delicate, Reputation
Danilo: My castle crumbled overnight // I brought a knife to a gunfight // They took the crown, but it's alright // All the liars are calling me one // Nobody's heard from me for months // I'm doing better than I ever was - Call It What You Want, Reputation
Sparrow by LJ Shen
Description: Troy Brennan
Every southie in Boston knows that name. The son of a dead mobster. The heart throb with steel blue eyes. "The Fixer" who can make or break you in this city.
Oh, and my new husband.
That's me. No one seemed to remember my name up until he barged into my life.
But then he caged me.
And killed every chance I had to runaway from the place where we grew up.
Put simply, Troy Brennan clipped my wings.
I have dreams, big ones, but I doubt he'd ever let me chase them. I have no idea why he'd decided to take me as his wife. But I do know this: pissing off this man will not do me any good. At all.
Troy: It was the best of times, the worst of crimes // I struck a match and blew your mind // But I didn't mean it // And you didn't see it - Getaway Car, Reputation
Sparrow: Late in the night, the city's asleep // Your love is a secret I'm hoping, dreaming, dying to keep // Change my priorities // The taste of your lips is my idea of luxury - King of My Heart, Reputation
